So, you’ve made it to his place. You watch a movie, or have dinner…maybe a little more! Then, instead of calling you an Uber, he asks you to stay the night! Bringing someone you’re dating to meet your friends is no small gesture. If he was just being polite , there’s no way he’d open up to you like that!

In truth, he could be either of those things: not interested and just being polite , or he’s really interested and he just lacks the confidence to effectively communicate his interest. Either way, it’s really confusing. The good news is, it’s not up to you to figure it out. That can be a telltale sign that heyou. But if he talks to you a lot about his ex or his actual current girlfriend he is just venting, or looking for a side chick so avoid him.

If he compliments your looks, he may just be nice. And if he constantly does it that may just be his personality. Winking is always flirting, always.

Sometimes a guy reallyyou as a frien but is uncomfortable with the idea of being more. There are lots of possible reasons for this. Maybe hesomeone else, he’s gay, or he just doesn’t see you that way. If this is the case, my advice is, again, to try to find somebody else. This is a great way to know he is attracted to you and it is time to take your relationship to the next level.

A guy will never be ready to plan his future ahead with the one he is just trying to be polite. He might be your good friend but he has never been attracted to you when he sees no future with you. He’s always smiling around you.

People smile to be friendly, so this is one of those signs that really relies on your observational skills. People who are being polite will smile without those feelings reaching their eyes. The smiles are posed and meant to be polite, and that’s fine. Depending on what method he is most comfortable using, a guy can show that heyou verbally, nonverbally, or both.

Everyone has a different smile. Some people smile with their mouth closed and some smile with their teeth. And some guys are just plain shy! However, if you notice him smiling at you with a gleam in his eyes, there’s a really large chance he is interested in you.

He may be a true gentleman, but that is not a clear cut sign heyou.

Sadly in our worl having a crush is still often seen through teasing, not politeness. Unless there is something more than manners, this could just be him being nice. Their politeness is almost uncomfortable. It’s like they are going out of their way to be “nice” to you out of pity. It’s important to note that not everyone moves at the same spee so don’t be discouraged if the person you’re talking to hasn’t asked you out on a date within the first couple days— he could just not be ready yet! He did end up walking me back and in return for him being so nice I kissed his cheek. He blushed and smiled in the same spot for at least seconds. The next day was the day i had to leave. Sorry to say, but chances are he is just being polite.

If he texts back with one word or just lets the conversation die, then he is most likely not interested. I was in the same situation a few weeks ago, and I figured that since he was texing back he must like me. Doesnt text me first the rest of the weekend. I text him first (for the last time) yesterday (monday).

This probably would have been my question. I thought my gut had a better answer. So, anyways this guy I was in a relationship with.
