What percent of conservatives are atheist

According to a recent Pew Forum survey, percent of conservatives are unaffiliated with any particular religion, and percent of atheists identify as conservative. It’s obvious that atheist and freethinking groups are making efforts to reach out to those not typically affiliated with the movement,. Thirteen percent of atheists and agnostics self-identify as conservative—a number that indicates a growing group on the right that does not believe in a god.
